AMYGDALOIDAL STONE MUG
Shipping calculated at checkout.
Inspired by amygdaloidal stones collected along the Bay of Fundy in the Atlantic maritimes, these inlay clay mugs are made using the nerikomi technique of inlaying coloured clay into a caramel stoneware. The inlay on each mug's surface is done by hand, each mug is uniquely colored and patterned, one-of-a-kind. They're hand-built, and vesicle impressions are created to mimic geology. After firing the vesicles and mugs interiors are frosted with a speckled glaze. Holds 10 oz.
Each piece is unique and handmade by the Sugarhouse Ceramic Co. team and comes hand-stamped with our potter's mark. Actual item may will differ slightly from photo as each are unique.
